September is Attendance Awareness Month. We will be sharing information via social media each day to promote higher attendance rates for all students. Please take a moment to read the information and use it to ensure your student gets to school every day he/she is healthy.
Information comes from Attendance Works , which is a “national and state initiative that promotes better policy and practice around school attendance. We promote tracking chronic absence data for each student beginning in kindergarten, or ideally earlier, and partnering with families and community agencies to intervene when poor attendance is a problem for students or schools.”
